REGISTRATION: In order to use some pages inside WSGS’s Web site, you may have to complete a registration form and/or create a user name and password. During registration you are required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to count our visitors that download current issues or browse our publications online as being included in our total number of readers.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we may send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.
WSGS is the sole owner of the information collected on greenandwhitesheet.com. WSGS collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
ORDERS: If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).
We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
APPLICATION FORMS: If you apply for a loan (credit account) on our site, we require that you provide certain personally identifiable information, including your name, address, phone number, credit card number and Social Security number. This information is necessary to process your application and to contact you.
If you apply for a position (employment) on our site, we require that you provide certain personally identifiable information, including your name, address, phone number, work history, salary history, education, Social Security number, and other information that is deemed necessary for pre-employment checks. WSGS is a "Drug-Free Work Environment" and all applicants are also required to submit to a drug screening test prior to employment.
SOCIAL SECURIY NUMBERS: Social Security numbers are collected only for employment records and/or for financial credit checks and are used only for those purposes.
SURVEYS OR CONTESTS: From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, address and telephone number), and demographic information (such as zip code).
We use this information to notify contest winners and award prizes, to monitor site traffic or personalize the site and in the case of anonymous information collected in surveys, to send participants an email, newsletter or results of the survey.

Change of Ownership Statement – 4 March 2015
Schurz Communications, Inc. has announced the sale of its daily newspaper, The Imperial Valley Press, and its dependent publications Adelante Valle and Valley Women, all based in El Centro.
Also sold were the White Sheets and the Green Sheets, which consists of 12 weekly shopper publications covering a large part of the tri-state area of California, Arizona and Nevada, including Yuma, Lake Havasu and Parker in Arizona, and Riverside, Imperial and San Bernardino counties in California with distribution into southwestern Nevada. The White Sheet and Green Sheet also operates and maintains the website located at GreenAndWhiteSheet.com.
The newspaper and shopper publications were acquired by Imperial Valley News Media, Inc. The group of publications has a long and storied history. The Imperial Valley Press has been serving the Imperial Valley since 1901. The Green Sheet first started serving Riverside County in 1955 and the White Sheet launched in 1968.
Imperial Valley News Media is affiliated with newspaper operations across the United States and Canada, including current newspaper operations in California and Arizona. The Imperial Valley News Media management team has more than 100 years of experience in the newspaper industry and is excited about this new opportunity.
